Course Description

Begin the New School Year in Arts Education at Art Lab Amsterdam This fall, young children are invited into a new season of creativity, imagination, and artistic discovery at Art Lab Amsterdam. Art Lab offers a year-long visual arts education program created by professional artist and educator Julia Mandle. More than a typical “knutselclub,” Art Lab introduces children to real artistic techniques, inspiring artists, and meaningful creative exploration in a warm and welcoming environment. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, sketchbook practice, mindfulness, storytelling, and playful experimentation, children develop confidence, observation skills, creativity, and self-expression. This Fall Season We Will Explore: - Favorite animals through drawing, painting, and sculpture - Autumn-inspired art and nature themes - Sketchbook experimentation and creative play - Inspiring classical and contemporary artists - “Inside Out” mindfulness-based art exercises - Art games and collaborative projects - Seasonal projects inspired by weather, animals, and nature - A special stuffed-animal finale class where children create a handmade surprise for a beloved soft toy Relaxing music, imagination exercises, and playful reflection help children feel safe, inspired, and creatively confident.
