Course Description

🌊 Workshop: Wave Makers Tie-dye your own ocean-blue wave T-shirt! Help create a giant collaborative wave for the summer parade! Let’s get colourful and creative by upcycling! In this playful workshop, kids will transform their old white or light-coloured T-shirt into a swirling blue tie-dye wave. We’ll also dye shared fabric to make a BIG community artwork—a giant fabric wave that we’ll carry in our joyful end-of-summer parade! Date: Saturday 23 August 2025 Time: 10:00–11:30 Location: Beach club Vrijland (IJburg) Cost: €10 per child (Free with Stadspas—must email us to reserve) Language: Workshop taught in Dutch (English support available) Bring: An old white or light-coloured T-shirt for your child to dye Optional: old white/light bed sheets or fabric to share and dye for the group wave All participants are also invited to join a free follow-up workshop on Wednesday 27 August to add final decorations, rehearse, and get ready for our community parade! 🎉 Parade Day: Samen Voor Pampus Summer Parade Join us on Friday 29 August at 16:00 as we march from FactorIJ gallery to Vrijland beach with our wave T-shirts, banners, and joy!
